By downloading, installing, or using the TMPLTR WordPress plugin ("Plugin") or any related services including the TMPLTR website and backend services ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Plugin or Service.

1. Overview

TMPLTR is a WordPress plugin that enables users to create reusable page templates with AI-powered content generation. The Plugin communicates with TMPLTR's backend services to process AI content generation requests and manage user accounts.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you meet this requirement and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.

3. Account Registration

To use the Plugin's generation features, you must create an account by providing a valid email address and password. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to notify TMPLTR immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

4. Credits and Payments

4.1 Credit System

The Service operates on a credit-based system. Each AI content generation request consumes credits from your account balance.

4.2 Free Credits

New accounts may receive a limited number of free credits. Free credits are provided at TMPLTR's discretion and may be modified or discontinued at any time without prior notice.

4.3 Purchasing Credits

Additional credits may be purchased through the TMPLTR website. All credit purchases are final and non-refundable unless otherwise required by applicable law.

4.4 Credit Expiration

TMPLTR reserves the right to set expiration periods on credits. Any applicable expiration terms will be communicated at the time of purchase or allocation.

4.5 Pricing Changes

TMPLTR reserves the right to modify credit pricing at any time. Price changes will not affect credits already purchased.

5. Generated Content and Page Ownership

5.1 Your Content

All pages and content generated through TMPLTR are yours. Generated content is written directly into standard WordPress pages as HTML and does not depend on the Plugin to render or display.

5.2 Persistence After Uninstall

If you deactivate or uninstall the Plugin, all previously generated pages remain on your WordPress site as standard pages. TMPLTR does not delete, modify, or disable your generated content upon uninstallation.

5.3 Content Responsibility

You are solely responsible for reviewing, editing, and publishing any AI-generated content. TMPLTR does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or suitability of AI-generated content for any particular purpose.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

  • Generate content that is illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, defamatory, or otherwise objectionable.
  • Generate content that infringes on the intellectual property rights of any third party.
  • Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Plugin or backend services.
  • Circumvent, disable, or interfere with the credit system or any security features of the Service.
  • Use automated tools, bots, or scripts to interact with the Service in a manner not intended by TMPLTR.
  • Resell, redistribute, or sublicense access to the Service or credits without prior written consent from TMPLTR.
  • Overload, disrupt, or interfere with the Service's servers or infrastructure.

TMPLTR reserves the right to suspend or terminate your account for violations of these terms without prior notice or refund.

7. AI Content Generation

7.1 Third-Party AI Providers

The Service uses third-party AI providers to generate content. By using the Service, you acknowledge that your prompt data and field values are transmitted to these providers for processing. TMPLTR does not control the AI models and is not responsible for the specific output they produce.

7.2 No Guarantees on Output

AI-generated content is provided "as is." TMPLTR does not guarantee that generated content will be free from errors, factually accurate, original, or suitable for any specific purpose including search engine optimization.

7.3 Content Review

You are responsible for reviewing all generated content before publishing. TMPLTR is not liable for any consequences arising from the publication of AI-generated content on your website.

8. Data Collection and Privacy

8.1 Account Data

TMPLTR collects and stores your email address, display name, and account preferences to provide the Service.

8.2 Usage Data

TMPLTR may collect usage data such as credit consumption, generation requests, and Plugin version information to maintain and improve the Service.

Your prompt text and field values are transmitted to TMPLTR's backend server and to third-party AI providers for content generation. TMPLTR does not permanently store the content of your prompts or generated output on its servers beyond what is necessary to complete the generation request.

8.4 Site Data

The Plugin may access information about your WordPress site's existing pages to provide internal linking context for AI content generation. This data is used solely for the purpose of generating content and is not shared with third parties beyond what is necessary for AI processing.

8.5 No Sale of Data

TMPLTR does not sell your personal data or account information to third parties.

9. Plugin Updates

15. Changes to These Terms

TMPLTR reserves the right to update these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated through the Plugin interface or via the email address associated with your account. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
